This is Mandy's friend, Melanie Wright:) I just made the connection that you are married to Court... we were actually at the Austin Institute together for a little while - a long time ago! Anyway, I was browsing blogs today & came upon yours. I absolutely LOVE your layout and wondered if you got it from a certain website or if you designed it yourself?? I've been trying to find one for mine but I can't find one that is as wide as yours, which I really like. Anyway - thanks ahead of time!
Hi Melanie! Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad you like my layout! I started with one of the regular blogspot layouts... I think it was "Thisaway" and then I went into the HTML code and tweaked it and then created my own graphics. It took a bit of trial and error to get it to look the way it does, so I have a hard time explaining how I did it. There's still a few quirks too, like the first post always has a gray tint to it, and the rest of the posts don't. I haven't been able to figure out why. But anyway, if we ever cross paths, I can sit down and show you a little bit. I know there's a site called Pyzam that a lot of people use. They have a lot of pretty layouts. So you might look there. ;)
