Today I met up with my friend Sara and we took the kids to the new splash park. At first, Meredith was a little nervous, but she eventually warmed up to it. We only stayed for about 45 minutes though, because it was really windy and one of Sara's boys said he was cold and wanted to go home. I'm sure we'll be going to that park a lot...it's free and it's great for the little ones.

Hi Rachel! Yeah...it's been windy here too. We only spent about 45 minutes at the splash park. My friend's little boy started saying he was cold and wanted to go home. I went again today with my sister-in-law and her little girl and it was so windy again, that we only stayed 20 minutes. So, hopefully we'll get some calmer days so the kids can play longer and not get cold. It's nice because the water is pretty warm...so without the wind, I think the kids could play for quite a while. We'll see what happens!
