Here's some pictures of Meredith's 1st birthday party. It wasn't really a party...we made a cake and let her eat a big ol' piece of it. She had a great time. Of course when we all sang to her and put a cake with a burning candle in front of her, she looked around wondering what was going on. It was cute. She caught on quickly, though, and had a great time eating her cake...

She was a little unsure at first of this big chunk of cake that was put infront of her.
And then she got mad because she didn't like the frosting sticking to her fingers. This is common for Meredith...she hates things that are sticky!
She eventually caught on to the deliciousness of the cake and the fact that mommy and daddy were letting her put her hands in it and eat it.

After we cleaned up the cake mess and gave Meredith a bath, we let Meredith see all her presents! She was very excited!
Meredith got this riding toy from Awna D and Geezer (Court's parents). She loves to play on it...and she especially loves the little plastic cell phone that came with it. She likes to chew on it.

Oh she is such a cute girl. I sent mine and Crick's present to her, so it should get to home on Thursday. Sorry but I didn't wrap it. Happy Father's day Court!
