Today is my husband's 29th birthday! To celebrate, I just wanted to post a few photos of us, and to tell him I Love YOU! He's the best! Court, I hope you know how much I love you and that I hope this next year is your best ever! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!
On Saturday night we went over to John and Jodi's house for Jodi's Golden Birthday! She turned 27 on the 27th in 2007, so John decided to throw her a big birthday party. Pretty cool! The party was a blast. John and Jodi are big Halloween fans, so they have lots of cool decorations - the coolest being their Halloween village. They had it set up in a corner of the family room...it was really dim in that corner and they put black lights on it to make it look spooky. I took pictures, but the flash makes it look like the lights are on in the room, even though it was dim. Everyone had really great costumes. I was impressed! Everyone looked so great. John was dressed up as Neil Diamond and Jodi was a Neil Diamond groupie. It was hilarious. We dressed Meredith up as a bumble bee, although she hated the hat and didn't like having her feet constricted, so we ended up cutting leg holes in the costume. And we only put the hat on for pictures. I dressed up as a flower and Court was a redneck. He was going to be Larry the Cable Guy, but we were so busy with packing up the house that there just wasn't time to get it all together. So we went with the Redneck idea. For some reason, Court makes a great redneck! ;) LOL! But seriously... we were glad we got to see all the great costumes and decorations...I've been kind of bummed that we didn't get to do any decorating this year - not even carved pumpkins! :( Court assures me that we'll go all out next year to make up for this year! Fortunately, we'll be getting together with the Riley family again on Halloween...so we should get to see all the fun costumes again! Here's some pictures of the event:

Karaoke Time! We had a lot of fun with the Karaoke. The best part was when Kyle sang Ghostbusters! He had such a blast! The cutest was Jaxon Crow singing Twinkle Twinkle... so sweet!

Here's the Halloween village - like I said, the flash on my camera kinda takes away from the spookiness of it. It looks awesome in dim light with the black lights!I have a few more pictures from Mike Fogg's 40th birthday party. I forgot to mention that for most of the night, Court wore this hilarious mullet wig! It had really long hair, so Court cut the hair shorter, but left one long, braided tail down the back. It was awesome! He eventually stopped wearing it because he said it got really itchy. While we were in Vegas we also got to see Brady play in a soccer game and Colin play in a football game. They both did awesome! So I'm posting a few pictures from that. As I said before, we had a total blast in Vegas!

Some of the balloons we got to blow up.We headed down to Vegas this past weekend to attend Mike Fogg's 40th Birthday Party. It was a blast!! Michele really went all out. The 80's theme was really fun...they had 80s Karaoke, 80s Trivia, a dance floor with 80s music, clips and trailers from 80s movies and TV shows, and some really great 80s fashions! We got to blow up a couple hundred helium ballons - they lined the ceiling with the ribbons hanging down. It was really cool.
Meredith looked so cute in her little "flashdance" outfit, although I forgot to get her little t-shirt with the neck and sleeves cut off. But she still looked so cute! Court modeled his costume after Michael J. Fox in "Back to the Future". He looked so awesome! I made some friendship bracelets on the drive down... remember those? and had Madonna gloves - fishnet gloves with the fingers cut off, Keds shoes, black leggings with leg warmers, scruncii's in my hair and my big 80s earings. Court laughed when he saw me and said, "I can totally see you actually dressing like that in the 80s." He's right...I did wear all those things back then. Oh the memories!
